Oregon Welcome is a local,  independently owned and operated welcome service and welcome committee!               Founded  in 2003, Oregon Welcome set out to change the community. “ I love this town!” says Sadie Mercer (Owner) “ It’s like Goldy Locks and The Three Bears… Not too small, not too big, but just right!”  It is because of her love of these conjoined cities that Sadie started Oregon Welcome.

             Oregon Welcome, founded with the ideas of community building, neighborly gestures, good deeds and commerce building, brings free welcome gift baskets to the home buyers and newcomers within the Eugene & Springfield areas!

The baskets are free to the recipients because they are paid for by the sponsorship and advertising from the local businesses!

About the Owner

Sadie Mercer founded this company just days after her 21st birthday. And married husband, Andy Mercer, in July of 2004. Sadie takes great pride in her business and her many other endeavors.  On top of starting her business and getting married, Sadie & Andy have purchased their first home “a project” says Sadie “ the biggest learning experience imaginable!” Also finding time somewhere in her ever so busy schedule to sell—occasionally—at the Saturday Market in downtown Eugene.  “ I’m too ambitious for my own good!” Sadie jokes.

She sights her love of public speaking, her passion for community building and her excitement for all things creative as three of the reasons her company suits her to a tee!

 “It’s perfect for me!  I go out every day, talk to the local businesses, talk to the new home owners and newcomers and help them to connect.  That fulfills a large part of my desire to do public speaking !  Then I get to introduce neighbor to neighbor as I deliver the baskets… That fulfills my drive for community building.  And in the interim, I get to put together these great gift baskets and coupon books… and my creative and crafty side comes out!  I love what I do!  I wish for every one that they were as lucky as I consider myself!” Sadie Mercer
